Privacy Policy

1. Scope and operator

Costante is operated by Beckham Huang, an individual based in Taiwan. This Privacy Policy explains how Costante handles personal information when you use the Costante app and the website at www.costante.app (together, the "Service").

Costante is behavioral trading-performance software. It supports trade planning and review, behavioral performance review, guardrails, discipline tracking, and trading-performance analytics. It does not connect to brokers or exchanges, execute, route, or transmit orders, or provide brokerage, exchange, or investment-advisory services.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide and account information

We process the information needed to create and maintain your account. This may include your email address, account or user identifier, provider identity metadata, and display or profile metadata supplied through email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Google sign-in.

Trading and performance records

When you use the Service, you may record information such as instrument, direction, session, trade date, holding time, outcome quality, net profit or loss, R multiple, setup types, trade preparation, execution readiness, execution discipline, failure or mistake modes, strength signals, and risk state. Costante does not automatically import trade data from brokers or exchanges.

Behavioral, guardrail, and settings information

We may process behavioral profile inputs, guardrail settings, session and risk settings, preparation and readiness inputs, plan-adherence information, behavioral mistake tags, strength tags, derived guardrail evaluations, and weekly guardrail snapshots. Notification preferences may also be stored with your account.

Feedback and support submissions

If you submit feedback through the app, we may process the category and message you provide, your email address and user ID, app version or build, platform, device model, and delivery metadata. Feedback submissions pass through Costante's backend and may be delivered to our support inbox.

Subscription and entitlement information

We may process subscription, entitlement, restore-purchase, and introductory-offer or trial eligibility information through the App Store and RevenueCat integration. Costante does not receive or store credit-card numbers, card expiry dates, CVV numbers, or Apple payment credentials.

Technical and device-local information

Our service providers may generate standard technical logs, such as IP address and request timestamps, when your device communicates with the Service. Costante currently uses device-local notifications. Notification preferences may be stored with your account, while scheduled notification instances and system authorization status remain on your device.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • create, authenticate, secure, and maintain your account;
  • store, display, and synchronize the records and settings you choose to use in the Service;
  • calculate behavioral and trading-performance analytics, guardrail evaluations, and insights;
  • provide, restore, and administer subscription access;
  • receive and respond to feedback or support requests;
  • operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service; and
  • comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud or abuse.

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract with you, legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, legal obligations, and consent where required.

4. Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers to operate the Service. Supabase provides authentication, database, and backend-function services. Apple provides Sign in with Apple where selected, App Store billing, subscription management, and Apple credential revocation where applicable. Google provides Google authentication where selected. RevenueCat supports subscription offerings, purchase-flow integration, entitlement status, restores, eligibility, and subscription customer identity. Resend supports delivery of support-feedback email.

We share information with a provider only as needed for that provider's role. We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, or safety of Costante, users, or others. We require service providers that process personal information on our behalf to protect it in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements.

5. Advertising and tracking

Costante does not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use active general third-party analytics or advertising tracking. RevenueCat may process subscription and paywall-related operational information as part of its subscription service; this is not general behavioral advertising tracking.

6. Retention and account deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain account functionality, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain security, and meet legitimate operational requirements.

You can initiate account deletion directly in the Costante app through Settings and the account deletion flow. When deletion succeeds, Costante removes active account records through the implemented deletion workflow, including the account/authentication identity and user-owned profile, settings, trade, behavioral/guardrail, and feedback records. If required external cleanup fails before the authoritative account deletion, the deletion fails safely, your account remains intact, and you may retry.

Limited provider-side backups, logs, transaction records, and records retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or provider-specific obligations may remain subject to those obligations. Deleting your Costante account does not cancel an active App Store subscription; manage or cancel that subscription separately through your Apple Account subscription settings. 7. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and protect your account credentials.

8. International processing

Our service providers may process information in countries or regions where they operate or provide infrastructure, including outside your country of residence. Those locations may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your location.

9. Rights and choices

You can review and update available profile, trade, and settings information in the app. You may also request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction or objection to certain processing where applicable law provides those rights. 10. Children

Costante is intended for adults and is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. If you believe that someone under 18 has provided personal information to us, contact us at [email protected].

11. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service changes. If we make material changes, we will revise the Last updated date and may provide notice through the app or website. Questions and privacy requests may be sent to [email protected].
